Downey Cycles is a family run bike shop situated approximately one mile from Dromore Co. Down.
It was started by Seamus when he retired from competitive cycling, having raced in the Olympic Games in LA 1984 and two Commonwealth Games. His sons Sean and Mark have carried on this tradition , Sean winning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and was a professional cyclist for a number of years, while Mark is a full time cyclist and is a multiple world cup winner on the velodrome.
